Who Made Titanic Escape Simulator? The Developer
The credits
Steam’s store record lists it plainly:
| Role | Credited |
|---|---|
| Developer | magicprostudio, Vintage Digital Revival |
| Publisher | magicprostudio |
Two development credits, one publisher. That is the extent of what the store page states, and the store page is the primary source for it.
What the studio has said
magicprostudio’s public communication for this game runs through the Steam announcement feed, and consists of six posts:
- A release date announcement on 9 July 2026, with the Official Release Date Trailer, published to the studio’s own YouTube channel.
- Countdown posts at one week, 48 hours and 24 hours.
- A launch post on 24 August 2026.
- Patch 1.0.1 notes on 26 August 2026.
There is no official website for the game — the Steam page’s website field is empty — and no developer blog, no development diary and no public roadmap. The launch post asked players to leave reviews; the patch post listed fixes. That is the whole of the record.
What is not documented
Being direct about the limits here is more useful than filling the gap:
- Studio history. No prior catalogue is linked from the store page for either credited developer.
- Team size or location. Not published.
- Vintage Digital Revival. Credited as a co-developer, with no public information attached to the name that this site can verify.
- Individual credits. Searches surface a personal name occasionally attached to the game online. It does not appear on the Steam record and cannot be verified, so it is not printed here.
Absence of documentation is not evidence of anything in particular — small studios frequently ship without a press presence. It is recorded because the gap is itself part of why players ask the question.
The accusations
Since it is the reason many people search for the developer at all: a substantial share of the game’s negative Steam reviews accuse it of using AI-generated content, and some reviewers question the provenance of certain ship interiors by comparison with the separate Titanic: Honor & Glory project.
Those are allegations made by players. No rights holder has publicly confirmed a complaint, and magicprostudio has not publicly responded to any of it as of 27 August 2026. The full argument, with what can and cannot be verified on each side, is on is it real.
What the studio does respond to
Bugs, quickly. Patch 1.0.1 shipped two days after launch and fixed a progression-blocking issue plus several collision and NPC placement problems, and added keyboard accessibility options. Whatever else is unresolved, the post-launch support has so far been real and fast. See patch notes.
Thanks for the feedback!
